can you replace just a keyboard on a laptop?

sure you can. get your manual off the manufacturer's site and look at what screws to remove to get it off.
then all that connects it to the motherboard is a little ribbon cable that you should get attached to the new keyboard. even a used one for your model would work. |

A buddy just ordered a new keyboard for his Dell 600m and I think it cost him $45 shipped from Dell. Not bad at all. Ebay is a great place to start though.
The keyboard should be very easy to remove and replace. Good luck. - Jason |
