Value of the button in different games
We're playing a HU $5/$10 limit game where the button posts a $2 blind and the BB $5. We can pick from five different games to call. In flop games the button acts first preflop and last after the flop - in the stud games the button acts first on 3rd street and 4th and after is determined by the cards showing.
Our choices for games are hold'em, omaha hi/lo, stud, stud eight, and razz. What game is best to call when we are on the button? My thinking for razz : Since so many hands are decided on third, our value aproaches $1.5 (if all the hands were decided on third we win $5 half the time, he wins $2 half the time). |

Re: Value of the button in different games
I would think hold'em, and maybe add 2-7 TD to the list and pick that.
