There is a decent argument to be made on this dry board that IF you are planning to check and always call, pushing is better than check-calling.

I think a check is really not that bad. By checking he gives his opponent a chance to bluff at the pot (if he decided to go to the felt with it anyways). Although an AQ might just check behind the river. Either way could be argued really. AQ will probably call a river (value) bet too.

What's with the checking to induce bluffs? Queens check behind but payoff 1/2 pot on river (reads would be nice but assuming semidonkey) and there aren't any draws that will bluff. He has a Q like always here so bet 1/2 pot and fold to a raise.
