Default Someone has been messing around with my computer...

Alright here's the deal. I come home from work today, and my roommate and his friend are chillin in the living room. I go to my room and unwind a bit and check my email. Turns out the history on my computer has been completely deleted. WTF, mang? This conversation ensues:

Me: Uh, has anyone been on my computer?
Roommate: No, why?
Me: Because the history on my computer has been completely deleted. It's cool, I'm not mad if you did.
Roommate: Well, I moved your mouse around a bit earlier because my internet wasn't working.
Me: Err, how was my history deleted then?
Roommate: How should I know? Computers do weird things...

Ha, uhh. Yeah I'm not pissed -- I had nothing to hide on there. But I'm still curious who was doing what on there. So OOT, is there any way to check the temporary internet files? If so, how do I find them? TR to follow if anything interesting is found. Hurry up, though. He might be reading this right now...

I know this has a story behind it, but for tech stuff theres the computer forum.

Computers do weird things, but not this. Unless you have it set to clear history at a certain interval.

Try checking your cookies or temp files. Firefox download history?

I'm assuming his computer wasn't working and he beat it to porn on your comp.

I agree with this, and it is not a big deal. He is being a douche by not admitting he has used your comp though.

This is my current hypothesis, and it's quite disconcerting. I'm almost afraid to touch my mouse...

But yes, I would like to check my cookies and temp files, but I don't know how. Point me in the right direction, please. I'm using Explorer, fwiw.
