Default Losing your cool.

I have a poker pet peeve that I can't control.... losing to an idiot. I'm not talking about losing to grandma calling station or a typical bad player. I'm talking losing to the type of player that plays LAGish, thinks on the worst -EV level of poker. The kind you can't think one level above him because his level of thinking has no sense. You can't read him because he plays random. In cash games its easy to deal with him, sit on his left or leave the table if he is on your left. But in a tournament any one of his retarded plays can either make you fold the best hand or knock you out.

So many times this type a player knocked me out of a tournament with poor play and miraculous luck. Usually when I am in good position to make a final table.

Sure reasonable bad beats, bluffed out, lost with no cards, outplayed, I can deal with. Not happy, but I can deal. Just this one situation I can't, I get so pissed off I want to strangle the SOB.

Read all the Zen books, even Barry's book doesnt help. I need something to not make me lose my cool when this type of player ruins all my work to get to the top with one bit of stupidity and a lot of luck.

yeah, i can relate. read the "broke my hand" thread. his play wasn't incorrect, but i got knocked out on the bubble with easily the best hand. i can't keep from flipping when this happens. that's probably part of the reason i suck at poker.
