Default KcJc, how did I play this?

Preflop 3 bet good? In all honesty on flop I feel like I am beaten but I call down anyway. Any criticism would be helpful.

Party Poker 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 raises, 2 folds, Hero 3-bets, 5 folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (10.50 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, UTG calls, UTG+1 3-bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (9.75 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.

River: (12.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero folds, UTG 3-bets, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 18.75 BB.

I would like a read before I try and isolate with KJs.

The river is weird.

I fold KJs unless the UTG limper is a weak player, the raiser is a maniac, and both blinds will fold to a 3 bet. I might cold call with other people in (like a cold caller or two and loose blinds), as it's a nice multiway hand. Otherwise, KJs is nothing to fall in love with.

Others will grace you with a simple two word responce I'm sure (you can guess which two words).

I agree with the rest. Uless you know the original raiser is crazy and will raise anything, fold pf.

*Grunch*

Just call PF, if the raiser is tight, you may want to fold.

You're probably behind on the flop, but I'd play it the same way.

Ooh, I drop it preflop. But, hey, 3-betting is better than cold calling, I'll give you that.

On the flop, you have TP, plus backdoor straight and flush draws. I'll give you 1 out for the straight, 1.5 for the flush, plus 5 outs to two pair or better which I will discount to 3.5 because UTG+1 looks like AK to me. That gives you 6 outs. Raising is fine, but once he 3-bets you don't want to cap. You are, however, getting, like, 16-1 on your call, so you have odds to continue at this point.

On the turn, you pick up a gutshot but lose the bdfd, so I give you 2.5 still for the two-pair outs, since any Q will make a straight with your jack, plus 3 outs for the straight (since sometimes you'll be splitting) = 5.5 outs. Getting 10.75 - 1, I think it's a fine call.

The river, good fold.

Assuming the pre-flop raiser is not a maniac, ask yourself what he's raising with in early position.

The most likely hands are:
AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ, maybe AJs.

Now, while there are plenty of wild players that will raise with more than that, I think that's a reasonable list.

Now look at it and ask yourself, pre-flop, how many of those hands are ahead of you now.

Every single one of them!

Now lets say you get a "good" flop with a K or a J. Now which hands are ahead?

AA, KK, JJ, AK, AJ. 5 of the 7 are STILL beating you even though you have "top pair".

So...........fold pre-flop.

I'd fold preflop. The rest looks pretty good though.
