Default WPT Bellagio, Day 1: Is This the Reason Mark Seif Makes This Call?

Just checking out the Bellagio coverage and I was wondering about the Seif hand, where he calls the all-in with the red Kings...

Gambling? as he claimed.

Obvious call?

Somewhere in the middle?

Or did he really want to leave due to his other projects...?

I guess I wouldn't've found it so strange if he didn't start referencing all of this outside business.

(baron- you work/with gutshot correct, no hiding plugs- Dids)

pretty horrible call IMO.

anyway h2h means heads 2 head? because i see it said ivey and ram vaswani have been playing golf. and that erik lindgren wants to play 100k a hole or something.

btw anyone know when ivey and lindgren play golf against each other? i remember they were gonna play but it was gonna be awhile to give ivey time to get better

I assumed H2H did mean Head to Head.

Always amusing to see random gambling anecdotes from a gambling endeavor.

And, yeah, that call could be player dependent -- especially without the K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] for the backdoor flush draw -- but all of the rambling I found odder still as justification.

Unless it was all some sort of angle/misdirection to give himself an excuse for doing what he did IF he thought it warranted one (which it might not've...)

Interesting hand, regardless, to start off the fun.

1) I've heard some pretty weak sounding stuff about Seif.

2) He knocked out the guy who created GTA so he can burn in hell for all I care!

Very good point. I guess Seif won't ever make a guest appearance on Absolute Grand Theft Auto.

Found it. Scroll down to the entry titled "Deja Vu". No word of their respective stack sizes, unfortunately.

Matusow checkraised a $3,000 bet making it $13,000 total.
The board read 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Matusow's opponent thought for a moment and reraised $10,000 more. Matusow didn't make a sound when he laid down...K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] faceup.

How about the "Go_Nuts" hand towards the bottom where Phil Hellmuth claimed to have them -- did he really raise pre-flop with 8J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or 68 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]? I think not, Phil!
