Why does my internet on my laptop not let me go to certain sites?

I have a desktop with a wireless router hooked up, and I just got a laptop that also has wireless.

Anyways, the internet on the laptop runs slightly slower (although the system is faster).

All I've tried doing so far is to do those little firefox fixes that are all over the internet with pipelining or whatever. What else could it be?

I have PeerGuardian and NAV running as well.
