Do I have the odds to call the flop? I was up against a loose aggressive player so I thought I had a lot to gain if I hit a heart. But I also knew I'd likely have to give up on the turn if I didn't improve, so am thinking maybe I should just fold flop. Thanks for any input.

Your not really getting much as implied odds go are you. If you hit on the turn do you think you will extract anything from him? If not than you aren't even getting the correct pot odds. He is offering you 3-1 on the next card. Since you have 3 hearts in your hand there is only 8 left. 44 unknown cards. 8 help. 36-8 or 3.5-1. Not quite there.
