Yeah, you did. You should be careful with this hand on the flop. Afterall, any 2-6 or 8 makes a low, any 5,6,8,t, or j puts a straight on the board, and any diamond makes a flush. Once the turn card comes, I'd cap it down against most opponents.

Same thing happened to me, TWO DAYS IN A ROW.

I raise preflop with A/A/x/x and get called by middle card donkeys (6/9/9/K and 5/7/7/8 from what I recall)

First time flop is something like A/3/9 and turn is a 9 (and I have a low draw that never hits as well)

Second time flop is 10/7/7 and turn is my Ace, and as usual, low draw doesn't hit to save me.

I took a break from the cash omaha 8 games for awhile after those bad sessions and started placing in NL tournaments with a 500% ROI, which was nice.

Now I keep it fresh, play limit, pot limit, tournaments, all kinds of stuff. That way you can get out of any funk you're in.

In my low limit games the most likely hand someone will cap the flop with is a set. In this hand it's possible they could have the nut flush draw or nut low draw also.

When the 9 hits the turn the nut flush draw isn't going to cap it for sure and the nut low draw probably won't. So what does that leave? He either has 77 or 99 with both equally as likely since he's the BB.

On the river there is no low so now we are sure he has either 77 or 99. What do you suppose he thinks WE have? He has to know now that we have at least a fullhouse but he is not the least bit afraid of us.

Since we have the nut fullhouse and he is not afraid then it can't be MUBS if he's telling us he has quads.

i dont know, by the time he capped the turn i thought he had quads there and was going to just bet/call river. i just felt i lost a couple of extra bets there.
