AA vs. unknown, coordinated board
I don't like what I did, here, what would you do?

Re: AA vs. unknown, coordinated board
3-bet. No call-c/r'ing the turn on drawy boards.

Re: AA vs. unknown, coordinated board
With no reads I 3-bet this, collecting while it's still likely you are ahead, and is the relatively cheapest way to find out if you're not. If called, I lead the turn and reevaluate based on the card and villain's action. If he caps the flop I probably start check/calling, unless the turn is a relatively good card, like a 6 or an A.
What are the alternatives? Check-raising a blank turn? And then if you get 3-bet...that sucks against an unknown. And you can of course not slow down immediately by just calling and then check/calling. Calling and donking the turn is the only serious alternative, but I prefer 3-betting here. |

Re: AA vs. unknown, coordinated board
I'd 3 bet it. I guess you can call and bet the turn, but what if the turn card is bad? I 3bet the flop and get the bets in when I have the best hand.
I agree with GMMigge on going into check/call mode if he caps and the turn doesn't help us. |

Re: AA vs. unknown, coordinated board
Read helps a lot. Even stats.
3betting is standard. But calling the raise and betting the turn works against the right sort of player. Just don't go for a turn c/r. |
