Default 500ish 25+2 played pondering what to do now.

It has been 3 weeks since i made the jump from 15+1 to 25+2 after 300 I had a roi of 12% for like 1,2K profit
now at 549 SNG I dropped to 6% roi 35,7 ITM for 882 dol won.

I dont know how to feel about my results, before I started with 25+2 I would have been semi happy with these results but having dropped so much in roi / profit these last 300 sngs leaves me doubting my game. I 've been posting couple a hand 2-3 times week but I feel like I've come to a stop in my progress, I think the pushes I make are good but for some reason I think I am missing out on pushes mostly the pushes that arent from the button or SB. I think an other leak of mine is how I handle raises when to fold or when to overpush, or maybe i am just leaking in a place i haven't considered yet.

Now I have read about ppl examining other ppl HH, I think this could help my game a lot, I just wonder how I would go about finding somebody to do this for me. Would anybody here be willing to investigate my game? preferably somebody who beats the game around or above my stakes?

What I am also wondering is that maybe I dont have huge leaks, maybe I am able to get a 10%+ roi in the long run, afterall i had 12% after 300 SNG (I know 300 is still very very shortterm), maybe i should just keep playing the game I play till i get to 1K?

I am just in general confused on how to interpretate these results wether to continue as it is or to seriously start questioning my game... Any tips advice or anything else that you think would add to the discussion would be veyr welcome.

I am so tired of hearing this response to results threads. He wants to know what he can get from these results. First, you're still profitable, so that's good. Your hourly rate has gone down, however, and that's not. You have lots of options at this point. One, you could go back down. Two, you could analyze your play and fix leaks, and then play some more. Three, what I am afraid people will suggest is that your sample size isn't large enough and to keep grinding to figure out your true ROI. This seems silly IMO. 500 is enough to get some info from. Your sample size at the 15's, however, is suspect, and you may have been running hot. In short, I think going down for a bit and fixing leaks and monitoring the ROI some more is best.

I nowhere mentioned my 15+1 roi, i think you misread it somewhere or maybe I wasnt too clear after 300 25+2 I had 12 roi now after 500ish 25+2 i have 6% roi

I assume he is referring to the number of tourneys played NOT the $$ of the tourney.

500 is not enoughto o get much if any informatio nabout his play or ROI. ROIsimulator is your friend www.rvgsoftware.com/roisimulator.zip with 13/12/12 dist and 13.5% true ROI over 500 games ROIs range from -8 to 39

The 27s are tougher than the 16s. You probably have some leaks, although they may or may not be large ones. Your sample size is small, but it could be a reflection of your play. We cant really tell anything significant without seeing hands.

To get better and plug leaks you could:

- hire a coach

- go through hand histories in PT looking for questionable hands and post those

- go thru all your HHs with SNGPT

To get SOME info from yes... But not really much of a solid ROI %. IMO 1K is the minimum for starting to gauge your ROI%. 1500 being better, because as posted your ROI can vary a huge amount from your True ROI in such a small sample of 500 sngs.

Big myth there.

500 sit and goes is plenty.

Here's why, if my buddies play 10 SNG's, they might come out ahead, but because they are average to low-end players, they probably lose.

You have played 500 of them and are ahead. You can tell one thing, you are a proven winner. I hate these guys saying, oh, 1000, 3000 tourneys, that's nothing.

No, that is enough to if you should keep playing or not.

good luck
