55s, flopped two pair from BB level 1 against tight multitabler
$55 speed on Party.
First hand so everyone has 2000 chips. 3 players limp in. SB folds. I check in the BB with 84o. Flop is Q84 rainbow. Pot is 180. "Hero" bets 180, 2 folds, TightMultitabler raises to 400, "Hero" goes hmmmmmm and does what? What can he have that beats me? 88 and 44 is obvious, but only 1 combination each left. He would have raised QQ preflop so that's not in his hand range. What can he have that I beat? KK or AA is not possible since he would have raised preflop. AQs or KQs? (I don't think he plays AQo or KQo preflop on level 1. But I am not 100% sure about that.) In the actual hand I pushed on the flop. But I don't like it at all. (Against a donk I think it's fine though.) Should I simply fold when the TAG raises on this flop? Any other way to play the hand except leading on the flop? Checking intending to check/raise? |

Re: 55s, flopped two pair from BB level 1 against tight multitabler
I think even though it's a bigger chance that villain limps with 88 and 44, he might just call with those hands on the flop so AQ and KQ wouldn't be that strange, but it's probably a fold.
I would try to check/raise the flop instead to get som more information from the other players. It's not a huge pot so if all check and a scary turn comes up, I wouldn't have any problem with just folding and missing out on the 180. |
