After the flop, your HOPE is that he has overcards, not an overpair.

In that case, you must raise the flop and charge him to draw. If he reraises you on the flop, consider releasing.

Once you reach the river, don't fold to one bet with just one overcard on the board. He could be playing KQ.

Ugh against a really loose opponent like this I probably call the river, but I think folding is so close it doesn't really matter.

The rest of the hand is perfect-o, IMO

Check-raise the flop, if he 3bets, fold
Once you do that, bet the turn, if he raises, call and fold the river ui.
If he didnt raise the turn, check-call the river.

I dont know why you guys play so passively just b/c the 30pfr guy capped preflop. Also I have no idea what the SB is doing in this hand, but its probably safe to say neither does he.

I'm pretty sure folding to a 3-bet on the flop would be a mistake with at least 18:1 closing the action. I've also seen far too many players in love with 3-betting a flop check/raise with A-high for me to be comfortable taking that line.

folding to a 3bet with 2 outs to a set and a 789 backdoor straight draw (maybe 3 outs total) would be bad
