How Do I Donate Furniture

I have a large couch that I need out of my place by Friday as that is when I no longer have the apartment. I called Salvation Army to come pick it up and when they came the guy looked at it and said 'That's pretty big' then he looked at his partner like he didn't know what to do then he said it was too dirty to take. It's not spotless but I think he was just BS'ing me because he was lazy. Anyway, who knows other charities that will pick up in Hudson County.
