Default NL400: Bottom pair and a straight draw against a freaky line

The SB is 29/14 over a really small sample of 39 hands. Seems like a donk to me tho so far, is this standard yes? How else might we play it?

My image was at this table 27/27 over the same measly amount of hands. Haven't been to showdown yet.

Blinds: $2/$4
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $364.70
Button: $783.80
SB: $920.72
Hero: $540.90

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
2 folds, SB calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $16</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $40</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($80, 2 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $52</font>, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $136</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises all-in $500.90</font>

Not at all standard. Def fold preflop. I probably check the flop.

k, what is your reason for folding preflop? not enough hands to play post flop properly?

Our hand is trash and this rather passive player just made a 3-bet. Sure it's small but you won't hit enough flops strong with this hand to want to see a flop.
