Default I don`t know how to fix my dual monitor problem

I bought a scaleoview L22W-2, because i thought he had an HDMI adapter, but he just has a d-sub port.

I want to rum 2 monitors at once and my other monitor has DVI and VGA ports.

I think the d-sub and VGA port are identical.
I have two ports at my PC where those adapters fit, but only one recognizes a monitor.
What`s the problem here?

And can I run both at a time?

For remberance the one has VGA and DVI.
I have a Nvidia river 8400 GS, so I think my graphic card isn`t the problem

Yes, VGA = d-sub

You have 1 DVI and 1 VGA on your PC?

Get/install the latest nvidia drivers, and then go to the nvidia control panel and tell it to use multiple monitors.

Even without nvidia tools both monitors should function at boot. It sounds to me like he has an integrated video card and a standalone one.

OP, are the two vga ports next to each other in a line or 90 degrees off from each other? If they are in a line downloading the newest drivers and rebooting should work. If they're 90 degrees to each other you can only use one at a time.

On the one that isn't attached to your motherboard, does it have both a DVI (see wikipedia for picture) and VGA?

You'll need to get a new video card if you want to use dual monitors. First you'll need to determine whether your computer uses AGP or PCIE then get a card with the appropriate outputs that you need.

No. The problem isn't with your monitors.

Could you take a photo of the back of your machine and post it please.
