My ladies aren\'t so bright....
Not much of a read on villain. I don't like checking behind on the flop; I think a bet to $20 is good. That said how do I react to a flop c/r? Call and get it in on a non heart,7, A, K turn? Seems like alot of cards to dodge.

Re: My ladies aren\'t so bright....
I'd bet 25ish on the flop, push over a CR.

His hand isnt near strong enough that hes gunna risk giving a free card on this board, unless hes got QJ, and even then going for a checkraise is kinda dumb IMO. Looks like he just is scared of the flop cuz it hits alot of our PF calling range. |

He isn't folding AA or KK, he might call with JJ, he doesn't have AT, if he has AhKh we are actually behind, if he has TT or 99 we are drawing to 6 outs... The only time the push is good when he is c/r bluffing after reraising preflop. How often is that happening? |

Re: My ladies aren\'t so bright....
I bet/3b. If he check/raises this flop he'll have a draw alot. We have decent eq vs AA/KK/set anyways (25ish).

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think it's bad this deep because the hands he goes for a c/r with are hands that we are currently ahead of, for the most part. I'd just take a card off. Betting isn't going to fold out stuff like AA or KK, even though he's scared of the flop. If you want to try to fold those hands, prepare to fire your whole stack at this pot. The only part of his range that folds to a flop bet is AK, AQ. edit: just noticed we're 4-handed, which opens up his 3-betting range more than I was thinking. Still like checking the flop, if I bet it I'm not folding. |

Re: My ladies aren\'t so bright....
Without reads, I would bet/fold. Really hard without reads if he check/raises you.
