getting 3 bet OOP with medium pairs.. LOST

I hate this spot but im in it constantly, what do you do with these hands JJ-99 and 88- 55 when you raise and get 3 bet by button or CO, assume button is relatively unknown TAG,, i fyou do call your facing a large bet nearly everytime and most of the time an overcard flops...

Some direction here would be very helpful.. i run 22/18/3 by the way

so balancing is so important vs a random unknown tag (not necessarily a regular) that we are not just going for best play in a vacuum? (@ pineapple)

with 100bb stacks you don't have setmining odds so i fold 88-55 quickly, 99-JJ depends on his postflop play

vs a light3better i'm probably folding 99-TT if he's good (mixing up his cbets, mixing up his second barrels) postflop, if he's bad (cbets too much basicly) i'll check/shove a lot of flops

vs an unknown i guess i just fold them, we don't even know if he's 3betting light + have no read on his postflop play

JJ seems too good to fold and raising generally turns our hand into a bluff so i think calling is the best play there

For some reason I thought he said "regular" TAG. Random unknown, just fold 55-99, call TT-JJ in general.

I call with JJ and usualy CR all in when no overcards fall. I fold most smaller pairs, unless he`s 3betting light.
