SNG Player Quality / Using the Data Removal Policy
Hi,
just thinking about the quality of SNG - Player, who use the Data Removal Policy on Sharkscope. Do you think SNG - Player, who block their data to all free users and restrict the available data for subscribers are generally the better than average- players, or worser - than average- players ? Or do you think this says nothing about the quality of the player ? Thx for your opinions on advance Tschouggen |

Re: SNG Player Quality / Using the Data Removal Policy
I would say that more often than not, they are better than average. I will admit that I chose this option because it is more gramatically correct than 'worser than average.'
Keeping in mind you normallly get a players SN from seeing them at teh table, its probably something you can decide if a player is better or worse than average with blocked stats based on : 1) are they on multiple tables 1a - are they making retarted plays on multiple tables so they want to hide how much money their retarted plays have cost them 1b - are they making solid plays on multiple tables, and have they done this enough that they dont want random people seeing how much moneys they have shipped from doing so |

Re: SNG Player Quality / Using the Data Removal Policy
Mixed i'd say.
I've seen someone playing the 2.40's hide his stats - and he was horrible. I saw he had a -35% roi over 700 games or so before he blocked his stats. So, y, if sharkscope doesn't tell me if they suck, I can see it myself at the table |

Generally those are better - which is pretty intuitive because the very big part of the fish doesn't even know SS exists.

Re: SNG Player Quality / Using the Data Removal Policy
Wouldn't it benefit the good player to be known as such and get more respect for pushes? Other multitablers will know you anyway and know you probably push loose late game whether you block your stats or not.
I know I will call sharkscope fishes a little looser depending on the stage of the game, so I always thought it was the bad players who wanted to block stats. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm gonna call players with a high roi very loose in lategame, for two reasons. First: They should be pushing wide, since they understand the concept on how to adjust to higher levels. Second: Their chips are worth more than the chips of the fish - if you take the weapons of the strongest fighters away, you're chances to win increase very much. |

[/ QUOTE ] At the lower stakes berating based on SS stats is extremely common (I'm sure it happens higher, but it's almost normal at low stakes), it wouldn't take many games for them to learn about it from chat. |
