AKo 1/2 would you push or c/f?
Would you push this hand on turn or just c/f? I am at least 75% sure that he will call. 6-max 1/2.
Hero has 157 usd. Villian covers me. Hero is in BB and is dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Preflop: Villian opens 9 in CO, everyone folds to Hero in BB, I make it 28. Villian calls. Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (Pot= 61) Hero bets 45, Villian calls 45. Turn: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (Pot= 151) Hero??? I have 84 dollar left and I would I estimate the chance of him calling is at least 75%. Would you push here or just c/f? I have a flush draw and straight draw obv. |

I put it in. Your A and K are likely to be outs as well, at least some of the time.

Re: AKo 1/2 would you push or c/f?
Let's say, he folds 25% of the time. You put in 84 (rake not considered):
EV = -84 + 25% * (84+151) + equity*(84*2+151) = -25.25 + equity * 319 EV > 0 <=> equity > 0.08 You need 4 outs to make this +EV on average. Assuming, he only folds 10% of the time, you need 19% equity, i.e. 9 outs. I'd say, you can shove here. |
