Default KK against a set miner

Villain runs at 12/10 seems like a set miner.

Party Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

SB: $218.41
BB: $81.19
Hero (UTG): $104
CO: $96.90
BTN: $98.50

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $4, 2 folds, SB calls $3.50, BB folds

Flop: ($9) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $8, Hero is confused because he would usually raise a drawy board but villain seemed like a set minier. So i call like a pansy for $8

Turn: ($25) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $20, Hero????? He keeps into me despite the overcard. I don't think this is 99-TT often so I fold cursing myself for not raising the flop.

call, fold river.

He could still be betting 55/66/draws/air, but he won't bet the river with anything we beat, esp with the turned Ace.

Remember, nits get bored sometimes.

I muck it on turn. Such nits generally dont know that an ace could be a scared card for you as well and just c/c with a hand that you beat here.
I play passive vs nits):

eh my inclination is that he knows you're checking behind on that turn card a lot, but this is a good reason both to continue with bluffs and with valuebetting a set, so i think we can call

I agree, but fail to see how that's relevant to the decision at hand.

Turn, I sigh and fold vs. a nit. But if I have any reason to think that he could be making a move, then it becomes a call.
