Default Pokertracker software

I'm aware that Poker Tracker and Poker Office are the main programs used for collecting hand histories. Which one do you recommend to a new user? Is there new software coming soon that i should wait for or should i go ahead with something now? I'm also not really sure how PT works or how to use it. Any information regarding this, thoughts, links etc would be appreciated.

Default Re: Pokertracker software

both pretty good, i use tracker personally,

Holdemmanager is pretty kool too, (dunno when the official premium version is gnna b released thou), their beta is free and does the same job as PT (i hvnt figured out how to show how much each specific hand is wining/loosing in the long term like PT showes yet thou)

And PT is gnna have a next gen version commin out soon,

Tbh cant really go wrong with any of them.. pick HM cus its free maybe? + has really kool graphs..
