The world is telling me I\'m a little girl
I saw some cool videos the the La Parkour stuff a long time ago and recently decided that it would be pretty fun to try it out. So I took a look around at local gymnastics lessons and all of them -- yes, literally ALL of the ones I found -- are for young girls.
I live right next to Columbia in NYC and my friend who goes there said there is a gymnastics club. PERFECT, I thought, until I looked it up and it's for the children of the students who go there. Seriously. What the hell. When I moved from Boston a couple of months ago, I looked into it there as well. Same story. So FINE, world, I won't be a little girl and will give up on my dream of running through the streets and being able to do crazy stuff (unless this is a test, one of those "if he admits he is a little girl, he can be an awesome bad mofo", in that case I fail). Sign, regretfully, The 6 year old girl (apparently). |

Re: The world is telling me I\'m a little girl
OP-- There's a thread over in El D's forum on parkour. Check it out. There's likely someone who posted there that knows of some decent parkour clubs in the northeast.
