Default Do I have to bet here?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

BB ($116.36)
UTG ($50.45)
Hero ($48.55)
Button ($60)
SB ($37.04)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $2</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $6</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB (poster) calls $5.75, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG folds.

Do I have to bet here in case he has ak or two other random unpaired cards? Should i have checked the flop after he cold called a raise and reraise?

Don't reraise preflop with JJ unless you have a good read that UTG is nutty. Read on SB would help. If he's very tight you can check behind on the flop. vs. an unknown I think your flop play is okay.
