Your play was fine.

BB raised preflop, bet the flop and then capped the flop.

Normally, you would expect him to have had top pair beat on the flop.

If he did not, then that is the type of player to value bet relentlessly in later hands.

I normally raise preflop here, but if the table is loose &amp; passive I can tolerate an overlimp. Perfectly played postflop.
