i think his range is a bit wider, probably includes JJ. but yeah, this has all sorts of reverse implied odds. i think fold is fine. calling is not too bad either, but you have to proceed with extreme caution postflop.

on A or K high flops he is only proceeding with hands we chop with or lose to, which is why I think dumping it preflop is the best play. Also what if donk minraiser comes over the top because hes a donk, or because he has a legit hand. Then we have gifted ourselves a one way ticket to spewville

yep, i've been dumping AK in this spot. the only thing going for you is this will usually go to the flop 3 way and if SG has JJ or QQ on Axx or Kxx he wont c-bet it and you have a decent chance to stack the minraiser.

John I cant possibly put JJ in Gravy's range here.

Why? there is only a minraise in front.
How would gravy play jj here?
just calling looks horribly weak..

i have not played with him a ton so i'm not sure. i just know that i do it and i really can't imagine anyone not reraising JJ in this spot.

first hand vs an unknown min raise in position? I like calling here.

Folding can't be very wrong. Calling (or reraising) could be. I'd fold too.
