Default Friends trusted me with their cat. He died. They want pics of him.

A very famous couple trusted my wife and I to take their kitten ($2000 cat). For the record I hate cats but he was pretty cool. When I say famous couple I'm saying famous as in the family from Coming To America.

He snuck out of the house last week and and ran under our porch. There is a coyote that is eating cats and I'm pretty sure that is what happened. Now the couple emailed us wanting to see pictures of him for Christmas etc. They both literally cried when they handed him over. I asked my wife last night what we are going to do if they ask for pics every year. My wife said we may have to photoshop old pictures of him at different times. I can't type this without laughing. If we really have to do that it would be the funniest thing ever.

So they won't actually see the cat ever again? Then just photoshop some pics, or mail them some old ones. They probably couldn't take the truth (a roadkill picture :P)
But why did you took care of the cat in the first place? I'm not really a cat person though so they would have paid me a lot to babysit it

Yes it was a very unique cat. They will never see hiim again. They are living in their native country. We are huge animal people and this was a freak thing. All I can picture is us photoshpping the same picture of the cat at different places hahah.

What? If ever there was a time for a lie, this is it. They were never expecting to see the cat in person again!

I'm mean, I don't think there is anything wrong with honesty here, but this is hardly the "ideal" time for it.
