Default Can you deliberate about this...

Imagine that you are in a room with two doors and that you believe that one of the doors is unlocked and that the other door is locked and impassable, but you do not know which door is which.

Question: Can you imagine deliberating about which door to leave by?

No, because you can only leave by one of the doors.

Since my movement seems unrestricted, I'd just try the closest one.
If it were a 'choose the wrong one and die' situation, I'd be doing deep deliberating.

Why deliberate? Take Action!!!

LOL

First, look under the crack of the door to determine light.

Two, push on the door to determine weight.

Three, jump up and down to see where there's a vibration in the floor.

Haven't figured anything out. Then deliberate.

No, but I can imagine the pallid air floating up from the grate in the floor---a little too cold, a little too self-aware for air that's meant to be breathed. And then blackness.

Seriously, I don't get this question at all; is it somehow a thought experiment revealing that atomism of will is only an illusion?

What's so hard about this? Just go out the door you came in.

Me too. If you choose wrong and can just have another go then I wouldnt bother thinking about it - I'd just try one. If it was a one off then I'd think about it. What I'd be thinking about is if I could deduce which scenario is more likely based on whatever had led me to conclude that one was locked.
