my standard line would be to bet/fold this vs a unknown, against certain people I can stack off here, but without reads, I think its pretty bad.

I'm ok with it. I don't expect an overpair here, and if he has a 4 for some reason, or 88, so be it. I think he stacks off w/ a draw or an 8 often enough that it's close and you'll certainly get a lot of action for the rest of the session.
