After this flop I really feel like I'm behind, is a c/f line a big mistake here?

You have to bet that flop...He reraises pf with hands other than 99 QQ KK and KQ...As played good fold, but you'll check away many hands with AA if you play it that passively.

Bet the flop. Bet the turn. As played the river is probably a good fold. Have to play this much more aggressively though imo.

my reason for doing so was that I didn't think he'd be calling my re-reraise with anything less than KK or QQ and I felt that I was behind

wtf is going on in here? As people have said, you need to bet the flop. Since you didn't, you need to bet the turn. Since you didn't, you need to bet the river. Since you didn't, you need to call.

As played, the river is a c/f without a doubt. The villain cannot be put on anything less than two pair here.

Looks to me like OP has been bitten by AA in the recent past. Understand that AA is a high variance hand, but, it is also your biggest winner!

AK, AQ, TT, JJ, and at this level even KQ calls your re-raise preflop. Have no fear, bet pot on flop. Even if he has KQ if the board pairs -- you win.
