Party name change question

I'm trying to change my screen name on Party, but when i go to change it, it tells me it can't be more than 12 characters. I've definitely seen longer than that before, and i asked the question in a BBV thread where somebody had made an hilariously offensive screen name. The general consensus was that if you made your name in the accounts section on the site(instead of inside the client), it could be longer. This doesn't however seem to work on name changes? Is this something that Party has changed, or am I doing it wrong?

Maybe it can be longer if you choose it when you create your account and not change it afterwards. Or the rule has changed. Obviously they won't change all the names over 12 characters even if they changed the rule

Try mailing them. You meant you wanted to take LOL_SLAVERY as name? (NOFI, just quoting from BBV)

Yeah i'll try that. And no, the thread was Party made them change their s/n, because they'd chosen OMGOMGIXXXONURFACE, where you can probably guess the x's.
