Re: 10NL AA
This is a tough spot, there's no denying it.
However, you did also play it quite badly imo. You seemed to decide that if he called your flop 3-bet, he must have you beat, and so check/folded the turn after building a huge pot. (You were also giving him great odds to draw.) In other words, you didn't seem to think there was any value in re-raising here; you simply put in 40bb 'for information.' That is horrible. If you 3-bet the flop, it should be with a view to getting it all in (reasonable.) If you're not sure you want to do that, call and re-evaluate the turn (also reasonable.) Also I like a bigger raise pf. I'd usually go for $0.07 (4bb + 1 per limper + oop bonus), but might make it even more to cut down on their implied odds and make it easier to commit. |

Re: 10NL AA
I would probably bet/call on the flop and lead for ~$4 on the turn and call an all in. Reason you don't bet/3bet this flop is because a flush draw is out there and he may have a NFD since none of your aces are spades. If you shove here you get called by sets ,2prs, NFD or some other combo draws. I think if you call his raise on the flop and lead a non spade turn you'll get more fold equity out of the draw holdings, a committment push by AQ and just go broke to 2pr/sets here. This info is probably a bit more valid if his aggression factor was between 2-3 but if his aggression factor is 1 and you are >90% sure he doesn't raise draws, fold flop. You'll be able to steal from him enough to make folding in this spot acceptable.

Re: 10NL AA
66 or 88 seem like weird things to open limp/call with in the CO, I expect most 20/8's to raise here.
Shove the flop. As played, call the turn. Do you really expect him to check behind on the turn after the way he played on the flop? I think the 3bet on the flop/ then c/f the turn is horrible |

Re: 10NL AA
Raise more preflop. If you had the flop would be easier because comittment would be easier. Bet $0.90 on the flop. Either push his flop raise (which is close given the stack sizes) or simply call. Don't 3-bet minimum. You could just call his original flop raise and try to keep the pot small, but this will be hard without position. You want to win the pot right now if you think you are ahead which makes pushing correct.

Re: 10NL AA
grunch...
if you raise more preflop (~.80), getting it in on the flop will be so much more standard. |

Re: 10NL AA
bet to 70c preflop (don't give people with SC and other trash an excuse to see a flop when you're OOP)
Then bet pot on flop and that makes his raise commit him so you can shove easily. |
