i think betting the river is bordering on a bluff, as i dont see villan in with a smaller flush the way its played out - so i prefer checking behind, but if you feel villan will drop a bigger flush, then make it a decent bet

betting the river carried much more weight if you raise the turn, as other posters have aluded to

This is 4-handed, and I think if we aren't betting here for value then our river betting range will be much easier for opponents to define (ie air/nuts). I definitely think we get looked up here a decent amount of the time with a bare K as well as a smaller flush. I think I bet $8-10 here almost all the time so I can do it as a bluff in the future.

There are some cases in which I would value bet a small flush, but I would be reluctant to do it here. If you are going to value bet, make it a small one as any non-flush (or even non-full house) would call here.

Make sure your opponent is a straightforward player who would not attack a weak bet with a bluff check-raise.
