Re: 25nl: AK line check
Yeah you're chopping at best and near dead most of the time. Good fold.
I wouldn't 4-bet it preflop either since he's got Aces or Kings a lot there and I'd have to call an all-in. |

Re: 25nl: AK line check
In fact if it wasn't a donkish minraise to open the pot which made UTG+2's 3-bet so small, this would normally be a fold pf.

Re: 25nl: AK line check
I have a question on this hand: If we put villain on a set here (we do ?), did he play this hand very bad then ? All after all we have TPTK...

Re: 25nl: AK line check
Are we really putting him on the last 2 aces in the deck or JJ exactly? Maybe this is spew but if we aren't committing on this flop, why are we calling preflop?

Re: 25nl: AK line check
Ship it,
I call pre-flop to: - Flop TPTK and possibly have someone dominated - Flop a big draw (FD + overs, pair + FD etc.) and get it in based on (fold) equity - ultimately: be freerolling on another AK-hand - miss and get out cheap Here I flopped my TPTK, but folded because: - my hand is unlikely to be best right now seeing UTG+2's aggression. Whether it would be a split or he has AA/JJ/AJ seems irrelevant I think, as long as I think I'm behind enough to his range. And I can't see him having anything worse than TPTK here... - my hand is unlikely to improve to the best hand by the river. If there wouldn't have been a J on the flop or if I picked up a FD with my TPTK, then I would have confidently put my stack in the middle. Reasonable? |

Vs 2 villains showing aggression, your TPTK is rarely any good here. I'd fold and keep a beady eye on both villains |
