Check-raising this flop might fold better hands and you win a cbet if he missed altogether. He needs a really narrow range to call you here comfortably.

i actually like a plain old check/call. call most turns unimproved as well
i dont like ch/r because villain is like never folding the flop if he has TT+. if he folds to our ch/r its probably becasue he has wiffed overs. he might fold an overpair to a turn shove if we continue our "bluff", but why bloat the pot when we can keep it small, and proably get to showdown cheaply if we want.

i think start with a c/c.

then you can c/r loadsa turns if he keeps firing, because he must know if he's decent that this flop hit your range so hard.

if he checks behind i would valuebet river.

note: i am folding the turn sometimes and also calling sometimes, just c/r is a pretty cool line if the board gets any scarier, or actually hits us

but why would we want to turn our hand into a bluff by C-R turn?

when you say "then you can c/r loadsa turns if he keeps firing, because he must know if he's decent that this flop hit your range so hard. ": do you mean that he will double barrel AK so much of the time here that C-R is profitable?

and why would it be more profitable than C-C? is it to avoid a difficult decision on the river?

thanks
