When he led my initial read was draw or monster. I figured he'd check call with an ace and I didn't think he'd lead into me with air since Prima players in general give a lot of respect to utg raises, especially from tight players.

I know BLdSwT argues that it is generally bad to put your opponent on a two outer but he seems so intent on getting his stack in here.
