1/2 Live A/Qs reraised on flop
CO is pretty new to the table, not many reads on him
1/2 homegame CO: 167 Btn: 350 SB: $89 BB (you) $415 Preflop: You are dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Folds to CO who calls, BTN calls, SB calls, you raise to $12 CO calls, BTN calls, SB folds. Flop: ($34) A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] You bet $25, CO raises to $80, BTN folds. You do what? This is almost always a/3 or 3/3 right? |

Re: A/Qs reraised on flop
You need to raise more preflop.
And I don't mind a fold here vs an unkown. |

Re: A/Qs reraised on flop
Home game no read...A/J, A/10, any suited Aces are possible. I suppose it cold be K/Q and even K/J. I probably shove. I don't play a lot of home games but isn't people over playing weak aces one of the money hoses?

Re: A/Qs reraised on flop
Hmmm I don't see A/J here, why wouldn't they raise preflop from the CO? I see K/q and K/J playing it the same way. A/10s is a possibility though, as it's harder to play postflop.
How much do you raise preflop? |

Re: A/Qs reraised on flop
I don't mind your raise. 6XBB is standard with two limpers. Again, I don't play much live/home game poker but villain could be loose passive PF which is somewhat typical for these types of games from what I have experienced.

Re: A/Qs reraised on flop
So all of you think a weaker ace is betting here?

Re: A/Qs reraised on flop
without any reads I put him in for the rest of his stack here. every live game I've played in without exception (home, casino, whatever) has been a joke. I'm not giving him any credit here if he open limps from the CO. if he did out flop you at least you are getting some information about him. this is worst case scenario obv, I would think I was ahead here.
