Softest Vegas Game
I am going to Vegas tomorrow and I was wondering where to find the softest mid-limit games. Any help would be appreciated with the room and the stakes.
I am also going there with a couple of friends who love to play poker but will be playing smaller stakes, where is the best to play for a couple guys with a fairly limited bankroll? |

Re: Softest Vegas Game
STAY away from the 15-30 at the WYNN... I always over extend my self a bit to play in the 30-60 which is FAST and LOSE (especially on the weekends).
The 15-30 seems to be a TON of locals that just pass money around... and it's a tough game to beat. The 30-60 always has a couple REALLY soft spots that literally spew a rack an hour. If you're good at short handed play... stay (or show-up) deep into the night. My buddy and I have taken a total of about $10k off that table over the last 6 weekends. If the 30-60 is a little high.... I remember about a year the brown chip game (I think it's 6-12) was always good. Other than that... the Bellagio will still get more limit tables going than anywhere else, but I love the Wynn. Plus, you get to fall in love every night with at least one cocktail waitress. |

Re: Softest Vegas Game
for alternatives to wynn/bellagio,
venetian had standard $1 max drop games going for a while over the summer. games were pretty standard fare for what they were. not sure if they still offer that. mirage had multiple 20/40s that all were reasonably good. |

Re: Softest Vegas Game
I have found the 15-30 At Bellagio very soft during the week days. I have played a lot at Mirago which offers 10-20 multiple tables all the time and 20-40 mostly in the evenings. The 10-20 table varies from soft to tough. I have the 20-40 almost alwyas to be nastly game. This is consistent with my observation that the highest money limit table at any casino tends to be tough.
Other casino's mostly focus on NLHE. You can find hte mid limits at Wynn and the Venetian, but they are only running during peak times. |

[/ QUOTE ] C'mon the weak/semi-tight locals in that game are easy to play against. It's a pretty easy game to beat. The 30/60 at the Wynn can be good when it goes, but it's usually mediocre. Last time I played it, Clarkmeister, Gonores were in it, then Budstud and goofball showed up. 15/30 and 30/60 at the Bellagio are the best games, the 20/40 at the Mirage is usually OK, but I haven't been there recently. Anything lower is good anywhere. |

Re: Softest Vegas Game
It isn't like you have a ton of places to choose from and they are all close. Mirage has $10-20 and 20-40, Bellagio and Wynn have $15-30 and 430-60. Venetian occasinally(rarely) has something.
Bellagio has the most games going at both levels. |

Re: Softest Vegas Game
Thanks for the advice, the last two times I have been there I played at the Mirage and thought that was a soft game, I was able to beat that game fairly easy, especially when we played 3-handed with no rake at 5am. I have also played at the Bellagio and when I was there during WSOP I played at the Rio.
It looks like there aren't too many alternatives that I haven't yet played, however, by the sounds of it the Wynn is the best place. Will my friends be able to play small limit at the Wynn? I know they have cheap options at both the Mirage and Bellagio. |

Re: Softest Vegas Game
All the Wynn games are uncapped right? If this is the case I don't know how comfortable those guys would be buying in for $100 at 1-3 when there's some guys buying in for $1000
