I don't like the bluff at the end....if he was drawing, that would be another matter altogether. To me its throwing away money. Assuming he doesn't play like a moron, he is very unlikely to have started with a weak hand like 873 - so you can be reasonably sure the 8 didn't pair him (plus seat 2 has an 8 too), and there are two fives gone (cos you have them) making that unlikely too. He called your raise meaning he most likely entered with a 3 card hand so he is going to call with his almost certain 8 low.
