50nl - bottom 2, flushed flop
So I'm a little card dead, about 15/10 or so, so I raise this up UTG expecting to get a lil respect and play some poker.
Villian is unknownish, 26/15/infinite over a small sample. What do you think about my flop play? What do you think about betting the turn? Re: 50nl - bottom 2, flushed flop
that card screws u..and it looks a little like he could be trying to trap trip Ks with a flush, or even have a bare K. So much beats u know i consider checking and hoping for a cheap river...or a 9 river

Re: 50nl - bottom 2, flushed flop
lol I don't think you can do anything in his hand at all.
Even an 8 or 9 on the river might just be a cooler. |

Re: 50nl - bottom 2, flushed flop
but his line is sooooo weak...it wreaks of semibluff on flop or a turned full house.

Re: 50nl - bottom 2, flushed flop
i think a check on the turn would be good and depending on what the river is either a call or a fold.

Re: 50nl - bottom 2, flushed flop
Check turn, call only small bet on river. Villain's flop raise looks like top pair K (or K8s/K9s - not the diamonds obv) trying to protect against the drawing flush, and turn looks like a full house afraid of betting and killing the action. This play might also be made with Ad8 or Ad9..2nd pair w/ nut flush draw. In which case, you're still behind because the board pairing gives his Ad9 a better kicker.
This is clearly a WA/WB case, but I would probably err on the side of caution and check/fold to any further large aggression. |

Re: 50nl - bottom 2, flushed flop
I pot flop as your hand is obviously very vulnerable. And this isn't WA/WB, it's SA/WB, with the first part of that range being basically the naked Ad with everything else crushing you. I hope for a cheap showdown and try and keep the pot as small as possible after that nightmare turn, probably folding most rivers.
