don't really like a fourbet, you have pos and it looks like he wants a reason to fold.

also seems like he'd call a draw.

i'd call and get it in on any turn

any turn? what does he get it in with if a spade hits?

I think he's on air too often to want to blow him out of the pot

If he does have a hand that he's playing like this for value, he'll usually stack off on the turn. Flush only hits 1/5, and when it does, it won't always slow him down, and sometimes it'll give him a scare card he can't resist.

ah.

anyhow, i elected to call. fortunately, the turn brought the 3c. he bet 264, i called.

river brought Qc, he pushed, i called.

another question though, what's the minimum you would call this river with?

yeah he pushed with JQ, so i wasn't sure if that was a bluff or a value bet from him, he said it was a vb, but i don't know if i believe him

anything less than 150x stacks here its a shove, but with 200ish, i think call is best so he'll stack off lighter. sucks if a spade comes, but like jim said that only happens 1/5 of the time on the turn, and i'm not overly concerned about any other cards.
