Default FTP 25NL - bottom set, board gets wetter than a climaxing female

Villain is 36/4/0.5 over 126, no real reads, he's loose/passive though.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $39.15
MP: $24.85
CO: $37.45
Hero (BTN): $33.05
SB: $26.35
BB: $26.75

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG calls $0.25, MP folds, CO raises to $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.25

Standard call preflop, we're looking to flop a set.

Flop: ($1.85) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
UTG checks, CO checks, Hero bets $0.95, UTG folds, CO calls $0.95

Underbet the flop here, kind of by accident. Maybe a little FPS in there too, looking for a raise from AK or KQ. Probably has a naked king.

Turn: ($3.75) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $2.20, CO calls $2.20

Must bet here, if he was on a draw, and not AK , we'll know now.

River: ($8.15) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero checks

[censored], never know how to play this, value bet, block bet, open fold, or check. I hate getting re-popped here, it's a perfect bluff opp for villain. I check.

Thoughts?

1/2 pot on the river...he's passive so if he pushes you can fold pretty safely. He'll call with a lot of worse hands so checking loses too much value.

*grunch*

I think I'm value betting the river here. From this kind of player I don't think you need to worry about getting check-raised on the river.

you're facing a minraise, put some real money in there, take control of the pot. [censored] set mining.

I can coincide with that. But I think it's spewy if he makes a standard raise.

no, it's not, but especially here calling is dumb. the only time you would call pf is if villain minraises big pps.

If you're 3betting OOP preflop, I'm curious as to how many Axx or Kxx flops you win with a c-bet...
