flopped straight on mono board
I'm new to SH limit and tend to get spooked easy. In the hand I ended up folding, but is there a better line? Should I have stuck around to see the turn and reevaluate if no club hits?
Full Tilt 0.25/0.5 Hold'em (5 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks. Re: flopped straight on mono board
Never though I would advocate folding a flopped straight but I can see why that could be good to here.
1. Pot is relatively small 2. QT (which is very likely) has you drawing dead 3. A flopped flush has you drawing dead 4. Your hand has no re-draw but both your opponents could be very much drawing live with lots of outs 5. It looks like it is going to be very hard to get to showdown cheap 6. Full Tilt is rigged (jk) I am sure I have never folded a flopped straight in NL or limit but had I flopped that hand with that action I would certainly strongly consider it. |
