NBA Live 08 on Wii

Just heard this is out shortly (well in OZ, prolly already released in US). Anyone played it? Thoughts?

I always thought a bball game would be cool on wii.

it isn't out yet; hands-on were pretty positive so far on various sites

looks like it'll make good use of the wiimote for shooting, dunking, free throws, blocking, etc

It's ok, but the graphics are TERRIBLE. Also, in relation to wii controls in general, the controls are a lot tougher to adjust to, especially driving into the lane.

i've only played one quick game in family mode (dumbed down controls). it was fun i guess but more of an impulse purchase [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I want to buy this, but most of the reviews I've seen are pretty bad. All the previews for it were mixing it up with the other systems. From what I've read, it's an incomplete game. BUT... I'm a huge basketball fan and it doesn't take much to make me like a sports game, so I'll be getting this.

What I've read:
There's no Dynasty mode on Wii, but there is on other systems. Trading players is ridiculous because the other teams will trade their best player for your worst. Online is pretty good, not much lag. Sometimes the controls are unresponsive, but fun anyway.
