Big Brother - Sign Up
Anybody wanna try playing Big Brother again? It didn't work out so well the first time - too many people weren't in to it.
For those of you not familiar with the game, it's pretty basic. Each week, there's a competition to determine the "Head of Household". That person will nominate two people for eviction. Then, there is a veto competition. The winner of the veto competition can remove a nominee, and the HoH puts up somebody new. Everybody votes for one of the two nominees, the person with the most votes goes. There will probably be one or two other competitions over the course of the game, and the winner will gain some sort of competitive advantage. The winner is decided by a jury of the last 7 people booted, who vote on the final 2 winners. Requirements to Sign-up 1. You need to be available in the evenings for competitions, on occasion. Not every day, maybe not even every week. But you could need to do a head-to-head competition, ie, chess or whatever. 2. AIM will help you greatly for plotting in secret 3. Commitment - the first game flopped because people didn't compete or vote. In a game like Survivor, where the game starts as tribes, the non-players get voted out by their tribe & don't hold up the game. That doesn't really work here. 4. I have to know you - Yeah, it's elitist, but no noobs. Sorry, but if I don't know you, and know that you have a reputation for following through on a game, you're not playing. Maybe next time. I'm probably looking for 12 players, 9 is also an option. This is first come, first served, but, as I said above, if I don't know you, or you have a reputation for ditching games, you won't play. |

Re: Big Brother - Sign Up
lol
At this rate, people will be posting their pog resume's in here. An "in" is sufficient, thanks. Unless you're a noob, in which case you should run away. And by noob, i mean "wtf is that", not "zomg you weren't here when pog started" |

Re: Big Brother - Sign Up
Also I suggest we up the ante here by actually living together for the duration of the game - it would basically solve the lack of participation problem the first game suffered from.
Note: this solution would require attractive females to sign up as well - lets gogogo! |

Re: Big Brother - Sign Up
i'd love to be a part of this, but can't commit for sure to evening participation; i can likely make most/all the evening games, but can't guarantee it at this time

It would be more like chess/checkers/backgammon/whatever where you would be scheduling games against 1 or 2 other opponents. If you can manage evenings under those circumstances, you're welcome to play. The advantage of BB over Survivor is there's no tribe challenges, which makes scheduling much easier. |
