Which hand would you rather have? 86s, AJo, KQo
The parameters: Loose, donkfilled 2/5 NL game, 300 min, 500 max. You have the full 500 or more in front of you. Most pots are 6 handed or so. Which hand would you prefer?

Strange vote here but I go with the 86s. On the other hand, I also would prefer 86s in LP over AJo or KQs in a normal game...

There really isn't enough info. Their ability to steal matters a lot here. On balance I choose 86s.

Definitely not enough info.
There are situation I would prefer 86s. But without deep stacks my gut tells me you will do better in this game if you were dealt AJo every hand than if you were dealt 86s every hand. |

Re: Which hand would you rather have? 86s, AJo, KQo
Not enough information. For starters, even though it's a hypothetical, every pot may be 6 handed, but do they NEED to be? What if anything can you do to narrow the field? If it's 6 handed all the time, people saying 86s need to consider the times you will walk into higher flushes or value your flushes only to be outdrawn by higher ones, etc.
I would think KQo would be a hand in this type of game that has a decent amount of top-pair value as well as standing to get paid off very well on boards that make straights, etc. |

the pot is not forced to be 6 handed, that's just an average hand. Lots of limping. Preflop raises are treated pretty much as limps unless they are large. Some pots 3-4 handed, some family pots, etc.

Re: Which hand would you rather have? 86s, AJo, KQo
Based off your wording, I'm assuming this is based in part on a similar game you have been involved in. Sounds like a typical club game, lower stakes NL, young players, etc. If this is the case, AJo is worth about the same as 62o. I have played in many of these games, and more importantly, dealt them for 2+ years. AJo is a winner at showdown about as often as the Cubs at the Series.

It also depends what size raise will generally get you a HU or 3-way pot. If you can raise to 10x or more and still get called by worse hands, then AJ starts to rock.
