Default ($24) Flop decision with messed up AQs

The villain is not very loose, but definitely not a tight one, has limped a couple of times recently too.

Meh... Push PF? Is BB (he is somewhat loose) a factor here? As played, is folding the flop weak getting more than 2 to 1?

As played fold flop.

I just shove pre or at least raise to 600. BB is a bit of a factor, but your hand is pretty strong and are only crushed vs AK/AA/KK/QQ obviously.

villain would have to be really really bad to play KQ or KJ like this. i would expect to have two overs on villain and getting 2.4 to 1 it would be close enough to call flop.

i really dont like raising to 600 since we're almost always folding to bb shove

I like making it a little more pf that way you won't ever have to fold vs either of the shorties and you can get away from it if the BB shoves. As played I'm probably dumping it on the flop.

Raise more preflop but DONT shove, if you raise more (t700 or so) and a big stack 4-bets you then it's an easy fold, but getting it all in against a shortstack preflop here is probably best.

I call this, looks like stop and go to me so he can have air enough times for this to be at least 0 ev. We have 30% against JJ here and 40% pot odds, hell have some AJ- hands enough times to fill in that gap.

And yeah raise 4bb pre and your flop decision is easy. Even push preflop can't be -ev i think with 400 in pot.
