Default Oddsmaker- turns out I made money, now what (RE:banner post)

This post is basically a continuation of the "Whats up with the Oddsmaker banner post". I'm the guy who clicked it and deposited $50. So I bet a 5-team NFL parlay and won. My first issue is Oddsmaker changing payout odds inexplicably. Below is a copy of my intial wager of the 5-game parlay and then the final wager card after I won. I had $41 in my account before the bet and after I won I had $359... how the hell Oddsmaker came up with that number is beyond me. So here are the bet cards (first is what I copied in Word, second is oddsmaker's "new" version after I won).:

1) Event: Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts Play Time: 2007-09-30 16:20 Selection: Indianapolis to win Odds: Point Spread (-9.5) -110 Final Score: Indianapolis 38 Denver 20 2) Event: Seattle Seahawks at San Fran. 49ers Play Time: 2007-09-30 16:10 Selection: Seattle to win Odds: Point Spread (-1.5) -115 Final Score: San Fran. 3 Seattle 23 3) Event: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers Play Time: 2007-09-30 16:10 Selection: Tampa Bay to win Odds: Point Spread (+3.0) -120 Final Score: Carolina 7 Tampa Bay 20 4) Event: New England Patriots at Cincinnati Bengals Play Time: 2007-10-01 20:30 Selection: New England to win Odds: Point Spread (-7.5) -110 5) Event: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns Play Time: 2007-09-30 13:05 Selection: Cleveland to win Odds: Point Spread (+4.0) -110 Final Score: Cleveland 27 Baltimore 13 Bet Type Parlay Bet Odds +2,299 Bet Amount $15.00 Bet Payout $359.89 Won Amount: Wager Pending Time Placed 2007-09-28 15:53:36

How the hell does that work?

Lastly, I cashed out my entire account via "Standard Gift Card" as they like to call it. Apparently they mail out an ATM gift card to you with the funds on it. They cash out is still "pending" and I am wondering what is the best way to get them to pay, i.e. threaten legal action if they don't?

(None of this would have happened had MM not accepted Oddsmaker to advertise on this forum)

thanks

Oh, and here is what poster "SHRINK" said under PropPlayer's original oddsmaker post:

I can only speak from my personal experience with Oddsmaker. This is a sports book that I have met with on 3 different occasions. The last time took place 2 weeks ago when Oddsmaker invited all of the posters on EOG.COM to FREE ROOMS at the Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas.

I have been involved in the online sports book industry for 12 years. It is very rare for one of our sponsors to be this generous.

Furthermore, I have personally guaranteed deposits to them for up to 5k per account. And while I don't mind some people resorting to "name calling," I invite anyone to check out my history and reputation with any online sports book involving "pay outs," period.

Therefore, if you want to give Oddsmaker an honest try and stop bitching about their past, I will guarantee your money up to 5k...

All that is required is that you provide your account number and weekly balances by email to me and Oddsmaker to be insured...

Thanks,

The Shrink

This is a small amount and Oddsmaker is on track right now with payments. I would guess you get paid in the next 15 days or so.
If they stole from everyone they would not do as well as they do. Its when the balances start higher 4 figures to low 5 figures that it starts to become worth it for them to take a small PR hit and find a way to keep the money.
I doubt you have much to worry about at this amount but the worst thing you can do is make noise now. Posting exact plays in a forum with negative references to them will not help your case.
When dealing with these low rating sportsbooks the best thing you can do is cash out and keep quiet and patient for a while. Never ever go off on support at these books either, its a good way to have payouts disappear.
Anyways good luck.

You started with the stupid remarks.

As for your problem, email them your ticket number and what you have and await a response.

20 x 15 = 300
300 + 15 = 315

20 ---> that is the number twenty, you are getting twenty to one odds on this bet

x ---> this is the multiplication sign, for more please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplication

15 ---> this is the number fifteen, it represents how much you wagered

= ---> this is the equals sign

300 ---> this is the number three hundred, it is what you get when you "multiply" "twenty" by "fifteen", also known as the "product", again see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplication

....

Are we being leveled by the OP here?

If you are betting donk parlays and don't understand the clear payout that they are DISPLAYING to you I don't know what to say to you. CrushinFelt showed ya the math.

Oh yeah lawsuit is the way to go. Take them to your local small claims court. Make sure to explain all the details about your huge sportsbetting win at an overseas book. Also explain why your 5 team parlay was a lock. If ya need we can make a pole on here and that can be submitted as legal evidence that your parlay was a lock.

Maybe we can hire you a famous lawyer for your small claims case? Someone like Cochran. You can't lose this case if ya have a million dollar lawyer on your side. Shiat you could like sue for the whole Sportsbook. They will learn their lesson then.
