Default NL CASH 50bb vs 100bb

I am usually playing only 100bb stacks and sitting out against 50bb or less. Yes, I'm a nit. Well, but the problem is that in my site it's way harder to find 100bb stack opponents then 50bb stack ones. Also, 100bb players are usually better.

I'd like to know:
1) what the main differences are between playing 50bb stack and a 100bb stack? I could only come up with less weak connectors and tighter overall.
2) how do you adjust?
3) do you go lower then 50?

You can openraise a lower amount and still stack them.

The fact that short stacks tend to be much weaker players outweighs all the other factors IMO
